Dr. Dana Lovett, DVM
Veterinarian

Dr. Lovett grew up in the St. Louis, Missouri area, attended Nerinx Hall High School in Webster Groves, Missouri, and moved to Lawrence, Kansas to attend the University of Kansas where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Ecology.

After college she worked as a research assistant for a conservation program called Monarch Watch and volunteered at a Wildlife Rehabilitation facility, caring for and raising orphaned wildlife (anything from baby bunnies and birds to skunks and groundhogs), for several years before deciding to go back to school for Veterinary Medicine.

She entered Kansas State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001 and was awarded her DVM degree in 2005. She moved back to the St. Louis area and began working at Cloud Animal Hospital (2738 Highway K, O'Fallon, MO 63368) in August of 2005 (as Dr. Dana Wilson, DVM).

Dr. Lovett accepted a position at Chesterfield Veterinary Center (14161 Olive Blvd, Chesterfield, MO 63017) and as of November 5, 2014 this is where she is practicing veterinary medicine.

Chesterfield Veterinary Center

Dr. Lovett strives to practice quality veterinary medicine and enjoys developing long-lasting relationships with her clients and their pets. She has a special interest in internal medicine and soft tissue surgery.

She currently lives in O’Fallon, Missouri and has a very supportive family - husband Jim, daughters Nora and Kira, and son Braden. The family pets - a Boston Terrier named Crouton and two cats, Jackson and Tiger - share their home.

Dr. Lovett’s interests include conservation and gardening, but raising three children and pursuing her passion for Veterinary Medicine consumes most of her time.
